DESCRIPTION

The Elysium Beach Hotel opened in the Spring of 2002. It has a unique architectural character and a charm that provides a feeling of openness and tranquillity. Situated on the beach, close to the ancient site of Tombs of the Kings and within 15 minutes walk to the archaeological park. Close to shops, taverns and bars. A shoreline pathway enables guests to access the coastline to Paphos harbour.
The hotel’s extensive gardens are filled with the scent of jasmine as well as citrus and olive trees and an array of shrubs and flowers. Another key attraction is the multi-levelled swimming pool and its rotunda which features the hydro pool.
The resort enjoys uninterrupted sea views and has been sensitively designed in a palatial style primarily influenced by the Byzantine era. A blend of local stone, marble and timber, warm muted colours and decorative features such as mosaics, arches and columns reflect the aims of the designers to create a sense of place and tradition, where guests can enjoy a relaxing and stimulating holiday in a peaceful and secluded environment.
In Greek mythology ‘Elysium’ was a place of delight and eternal bliss. The name conjures the very spirit of the property, whose spacious setting overlooking the Mediterranean sea and extensive landscaped gardens with water features, pools and amphitheatre, extend a feeling of well being and indulgence.

ROOM FACILITIES

Deluxe Bedrooms
All Bedrooms consist of twin, double or king-sized beds and reflect the high standards and elegance of the Elysium's public areas.. They include either carpet or marble flooring and have a balcony or terrace. Two telephones with internet connection and voicemail. Sat TV, Radio, pay TV, play station, mini bar, free in room safes, hairdryers are available. The luxurious bedrooms have en-suite marble bathrooms with bathtub and hand shower, WC, bidet, magnifying mirror and telephone. The bathrooms are equipped with Molton Brown guest amenities. Disabled Rooms are available.

Family Suites consist of a bedroom and separate parlour with comfortable seating arrangements, a second TV set, a writing desk and a guest bathroom with WC and shower. The family suites have private balconies.

The Cyprian Maisonettes
Traditional to Cyprus, these rooms incorporate a double height sitting room overlooked by a mezzanine sleeping gallery and separate shower room and walk-in wardrobe which are located over the entrance and bathroom. This type of accommodation is designed to be flexible and suitable for families or couples. Rooms are designed to a high standard in a local style with rustic terracotta tiles and ceilings of timber and local bamboo. Impressive arched patio doors overlook the royal gardens.

The Royal Studios
The 'Megaron' with its arcaded ground floor and colonnaded loggias on the first floor is a stately structure housing 12 studios. These rooms offer a greater luxury and space than the deluxe bedrooms. As well as being set apart from the main building, they overlook the Tombs of the Kings from one side and the village square from the other. The ground floor units have private gardens with plunge pools.

The Royal Garden Villas
Set slightly apart from the main building, the villas with private gardens and pool are designed around a traditional village square lined with lemon trees. In the centre of the square is a sunken heated swimming pool surrounded by a stone colonnade which is particularly beautifully lit at dusk. Each villa have a private garden, plunge pool and jumbo bed.

The Artemis Suite
This open-plan suite is marked by the warm quality of parquet flooring throughout and solid wood locally hand crafted furniture to enhance the distinctive decor. Special features include a working desk, separate sitting lounge with TV, marble bathroom and a beautiful pool and sea view from your private balcony.

The Queen Verenikis suite comprises of a spacious bedroom with a marble bathroom and Jacuzzi. Here you can enjoy a drink from your private bar in the luxury of the suites spacious sitting room that features a sound system and flat screen TV or by enjoying the stunning views of the Mediterranean sea under the stars.

The Royal Suite offers the utmost in understated elegance and luxury. With the exceptional views, guests can sunbathe in total privacy on their own en-suite balcony or bathe in the suite's own pool. This suite comprises of two bedrooms with marble bathrooms and Jacuzzi, a sitting room with a private bar and a fully equipped office.

To Tombs of the Kings which can be easily accessed from the hotel’s gardens, and a wealth of shops, cafés and restaurants. A shoreline pathway enables guests to access the coastline to Paphos harbour.
