The Hotel gets its name from being built at the site of 17th Century Mill which has been restore to its former working state.

In this traditional village of Kakopetria you can experience true Cypriot mountain village life as it is known in Cyprus. See the local craftsmen such as the local chair-maker, who uses traditional Cyprus chairs made from wood and straw, the potteries which produce earthen-ware products or the lace making taking place in the Old Village. Enjoy the local life at one of the cafe's or restaurant, walk through the narrow streets, explore some of the small village shops or just enjoy the natural scenery.

If all this is not enough take a drive into the surrounding areas and explore the Troodos Mountains with its monstaries, Byzantine churches, waterfalls, flora and wildlife, not forgetting its friendly people.

HOTEL FACILITIES

The mill restaurant offers a superb menu through the day being famous for its succulent trout. An excellent varied menu for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike.
The restaurant is very busy all year round with excellent service, efficiency and smiley staff… the atmosphere is so welcoming!
Seating is available inside or outside, on the balcony area.
The restaurant is centrally heated in the winter, with the addition of two open fires. The restaurant also offers a fully stocked bar.

The reception / lobby is situated on the second floor. You will feel completely at home within it’s warm surroundings sitting either by the fireplace or overlooking the mountain view on the terrace, where you can enjoy a glass of fine wine and a peaceful read. Situated on the second floor you can also find the sauna, which is available to the guests upon request from the reception.

ROOM FACILITIES

The Mill Hotel, which opened in November 1999, offers luxurious accommodation with 13 rooms available: 2 suites, 3 standard rooms and 8 junior suites. Each room offering TV with local channels, mini bar with wide selections of spirits, juices, soft drinks and mineral water. Room service is available from 9:00am to 11:00pm daily.

The bathrooms are made with the finest granite, marble and includes a Jacuzzi bath to release all the tension. The décor is truly exquisite, with it’s exposed beams and rock, contrasting emerald green carpet and terra cotta tiles. Elegant seats with pretty cushions make it a wonderful place to relax.
